Neurological Rehabilitation Services<\/h2>\n

Our occupational therapists provide rehabilitation services throughout the continuum of care. We get referrals to address client needs at the point of discharge from hospital and sometimes we get clients referred to us who are already residing in the community. Referrals come directly from physicians in the community, lawyers, hospital staff, insurance providers and clients may also self-refer. <\/p>\n

Assessment of a client\u2019s functioning is carried out in the community and interventions may be carried out to address  a client\u2019s cognitive, physical psychosocial functioning in the context of their environment. We work with a team of Rehabilitation Assistants who are experienced in working with clients with various neurological conditions to implement treatment goals in the community. <\/p>\n

We also work with other disciplines in the community such as registered psychologists, registered clinical counsellors, vocational rehabilitation consultants to implement multi-disciplinary treatment plans and enhance a client\u2019s optimal level of community integration.<\/p>\n
